1- What is the availability of the rental property and is it available at other times other than what is listed?
Use our availability page to see our summer rental availability. All of our summer rentals are weekly and run Sunday to Sunday. If you are interested in off season rental times please contact us via email to discuss.
2- What is the cancellation policy?
Bookings can be cancelled at any time and must be done in writing.
- If the RENTER cancels the reservation prior to the check-in date, the OWNER will make every attempt to book another reservation for the same time period. If able to re-rent at the same or greater rate rent amount, the RENTER will receive a refund up to 90% of the weeks rental charges and other fees/taxes. (Third Party Booking Site's Rules Apply.)
- We strongly encourage RENTERS to purchase travel insurance along with their reservation. Cancel for any reason travel insurance protects the RENTER'S investment in the unexpected event that they need to cancel.
We offer our renters travel insurance through our property management company. This service is provided by outside company. Please read the T&C of the rental insurance company carefully. Schiebles by the Shore is not affiliated with the travel insurance company and receives no compensation for offering the services to our renters.
3- How is the final quote calculated for the dates I selected?
Our quote and lease agreements Include all charges so there will be no surprises. The cost of your stay is the weekly rate plus the cleaning fees. Your $500 security deposit that we charge will be returned to you within 48 hours if there are no damages to the unit. Because you are renting directly from us, NJ does not charge taxes or accommodation fees (NJ Department of Taxation Site). We also have no booking fees as you would pay with national vacation rental companies.
4- Before I book, I have a question, how do I contact you?
The best way is to contact us by email. We check the email often and will get back to you as quickly as possible.
5- I only rent condos that are legally permitted. Do you have a permit?
The city of North Wildwood requires all short and long term rental units to obtain a permit on a yearly basis which we have done for the calendar year 2025.
6- Are there extra fees, e.g. for internet/WiFi, parking, laundry, resort fees, paying by CC, etc?
- We have cable TV and Smart TVs in the living room and master bedroom, the other two rooms have a smart TV. You can log in with your streaming services accounts to any of the 4 Smart TVs. Please be sure to log out before checkout.
- High Speed WiFi is included and we will share the network name and password in your arrival package.
- We have parking for a vehicle in the garage and 1 space in front of the garage. Additional street parking is available (sometimes at a cost) in North Wildwood.
- We charge 3% fee if you pay by credit card as that is the fee we are charged by the vendor. We recommend using one of the free methods.
- Use of our laundry is free. Please treat it like yours at home. If you have beach towels or cloths please shake them out good before washing and drying.
- Bed Linens, Beach and Bath towels are provided by us as part of your rental package.
7- Does the kitchen/condo include item XYZ?
We have done a good job making sure that the items needed for a functional kitchen are there so we believe its fully equipped. You can go through our inventory list. If you have some specific item in mind, please ask us before you go. If you found the one item we don't have, we may be willing to purchase it starting with your stay!
8- Are the beds comfortable?
We think so. We're always interested in feedback. We have replaced older mattresses and will continue to improve as needed by our guests feedback.
9- Is there a floor plan so I can get a better sense of the layout of the condo?
Yes, the floor plan is on the bottom of our "Our Condo" page.
10- We have never booked a vacation rental condo by owner, so we are nervous about booking with you - can we trust you?
We’re new to hosting vacation rentals and are excited to welcome you! We’ve worked hard to set the property up for a successful and comfortable stay, and we’re committed to continuously improving and growing. Our goal is to create a space where guests feel at home and want to return year after year. We hope to build lasting connections with families who will make our property part of their cherished vacation traditions for years to come.
11- Will you share my data or information with anyone?
No, we will never share your data or information with anyone else, as per our Privacy Policy.
12- Can we smoke or vape on the property?
Smoking and vaping of any kind are prohibited in the condo and on the property. Violation of this rule can lead to forfeit of your security deposit and/or non-refundable eviction from the unit prior to the end of your lease.
13- Are Pets allowed?
Pets of any kind are prohibited in the condo and on the property. Violation of this rule can lead to forfeit of your security deposit and/or non-refundable eviction from the unit prior to the end of your lease.
14- Can I rent it for my children and their friends?
As stated in the lease agreement, the person who signs the paperwork must be present and responsible for enforcing the lease for the entire duration of the contract. Violation of this rule will lead to a non-refundable eviction from the unit prior to the end of your lease.
15- Do you supply linens and towels?
Yes. We supply bed linens and pillow for each bed in the condo. We also beach towels, bath towels and hand towels for each bathroom. We also supply 6 beach chairs, a beach wagon, 2 umbrellas and a cooler that you are welcome to use during your stay.
